Amasan Japanese Diving Girl

WORLDWIDE SHIPPING

Summer is approaching and we have decided to use one of our resident designer's images of a Japanese Diving Girl. This particular image of an Amasan comes from one of Kim Dunstan's copper plate etchings. The Amasan are centuries old diving girls who traditional dove for abalone, seaweed and more recently pearls. These sea nymphs are perhaps the closest thing we've ever had to living mermaids.

All images are designed in Osaka, Japan. Photographs for the images were taken locally in the Kansai Region of Japan. All models are 20+ years of age.

This shirt is ultra comfortable, and its modern cut makes it stylish, too. The rolled shoulder gives it a better fit, and the double-stitched hems make it long-lasting – it should definitely have a spot in your closet!
